I also work part-time at Atomic 55 Internet Technologies. Atomic 55 is a great local Kelowna B.C. studio that specializes in realtor based web technology. Also visit their sister company VUE Technology to find out more about their terrific HD 360 Tour technology.

Hello, my name is James Scott and I am a web developer based in Kelowna B.C. Canada. I take special interest in all things clean and eye-catching and strive to keep my development compliant and functional.

I knew from a young age that I would make my career in a field that allowed me to be creative. Building my career in web and graphic design began in high school as I geared my entire curriculum around art and technology (they even counted Information Technology as a science credit). I always excelled in my creative endeavors, from designing my first webpage’s to mastering dark room techniques in Photography class, I knew this was the path I needed to follow.

Learning the very basics and obtaining the passion to take my skills further, I moved on to my college training at the Center for Arts and Technology in Kelowna B.C Canada. I found my second home at CATO and ate up all I could. Here I learned the basis of my coding language knowledge with things like HTML/CSS, PHP, Actionscript, Javascript, and even Lingo (does anyone even use Lingo anymore?). It also allowed me to fully develop my creative skills in applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XSI.

With my skills developed and my ambition high, I sought out to make my career in a field I knew very little about. I managed to get a job with an American based company called Puresafety. Puresafety was the leader in online safety training applications and had a large portfolio of clients like Ebay, Disney, and Caterpillar. What began as a job working as a Creative Designer progressed into a career as a Content Development Project Leader.

After a couple years I decided to take my career into my intended direction, Web Development. I left Puresafety to pursue a career in a local web studio. I found Atomic 55 Internet Technologies and joined the team eagerly in hopes to drown myself in knowledge. I thrived in the studio’s environment and it helped facilitate a large majority of my growth as a designer and developer.

In March of 2009 I decided to begin work for myself and started LOUDA Media, working at Atomic 55 part time. It has been a great experience and I am continually learning new things about design, development, social marketing, and business. I look forward to working with many more clients and growing our businesses together through the power of the web!
